biographical information joyce kinicki joyce kinicki is owner and president of kinicki and associates, inc., a
phoenix based consulting and training company that specializes in providing
customized performance management systems implementations. she is a graduate of
the college of business administration at kent state university, majoring in
management and industrial relations. she created her company after working for
several years in human resource functions at goodyear aerospace, dayton hudson,
and american express corporation. joyce has designed, developed and implemented
executive education curriculum and customized programs for many clients over the
past 20 years. past clients include large organizations from the fortune 500,
educational institutions, as well as numerous entrepreneurial firms. much of her
work has been done in europe where she has implemented performance management
systems in 10 different countries. angelo kinicki angelo is a principal at kinicki and associates, inc. and is an active international consultant that works with top management teams to create organizational change aimed at increasing organizational effectiveness and profitability. he has worked with many fortune 500 firms as well as numerous entrepreneurial organizations in diverse industries. his expertise includes facilitating strategic/operational planning sessions, diagnosing the causes of organizational and work-unit problems, implementing performance management systems, designing and implementing performance appraisal systems, developing and administering surveys to assess employee attitudes, and leading management/executive education programs. he developed a 3600 leadership feedback instrument called the performance management leadership survey (pmls) that is used by companies throughout the united states and europe. angelo also is a professor of management and dean's council of 100 distinguished scholar at the w.p. carey school of business at arizona state university. he has held this position since 1982 when he received his doctorate in organizational behavior from kent state university. angelo is the recipient of several awards, including the john w. teets outstanding graduate teacher award (2004-2005), graduate teaching excellence award (1998-1999), continuing education teaching excellence award (1991-1992), and undergraduate teaching excellence award (1987-1988). he also was selected into who's who of american colleges and university and beta gamma sigma. angelo is recognized for his research and writing. he has published over 80
articles in a variety of leading academic and professional journals and has
coauthored six college textbooks. one of his books, entitled organizational
behavior (6th ed.), is a market leader that has been translated into multiple
languages and has been used by hundreds of universities around the world. janina latack janina latack is an executive coach, career consultant and executive seminar leader. janina has been an affiliate consultant with kinicki and associates for over 15 years. she specializes in high-impact executive development workshops and coaches managers one-on-one to improve their leadership style. as a result of her work with managers and teams, organizations achieve the best match between individual workstyles, organizational needs and the realities of continual organizational change and pressures. her expertise includes coaching managers to maximize executive development planning based on self-assessment data combined with 360� feedback from the performance management leadership survey (pmls). janina received her phd from michigan state university. in 13 years on the faculty in the college of business at ohio state university, janina established a national reputation for her research on career transitions and stress, and published numerous articles, including several with angelo kinicki. she has also been an adjunct faculty member in the eller college of business at the university of arizona in the department of management and policy. currently, as a member of the executive development faculty with the w.p. carey school of business at arizona state university, she provides custom-developed programs for companies in diverse industries. as a licensed professional counselor, janina links business organization
